Hi to all my new connections and followers! I thought I should take 2 to introduce myself. My name is Catherine / Cat / Kate / Katie and even Pal (thanks to my Scottish counterparts) – I get it all!!
I have worked in the Construction Industry for 13 years and in 2019 I created Doc Elite as I was tired of seeing poor Information Management within Construction projects and all the problems that occurred because of this so I decided to do something about it. Over the past 3 years I have been busy working as an Information Manager on many exciting projects throughout the UK and Ireland, delivering training globally to individuals and businesses and consulting to many others within our industry.
There are so many things I love about my job! The best thing is Implementing Software. I have experienced the best that the industry has to offer in terms of Common Data Environments and software systems and those that aren’t so good. I hear from contractors on a regular basis that buy an expensive platform and expect miracles to happen. That just isn’t the reality! I love putting an implementation plan in place to ensure the system gains momentum and when it transforms construction projects, you get a great buzz from seeing the system that it becomes!
