Time Management is highly important in any business, from punctuality right through to delivering your work in a timely manner. Within document control managing our time effectively is very important to ensure tasks are completed on time.
Here are my top 3 tips for managing your time!
Plan the day ahead: Don’t jump right into what needs done, take a moment to structure your day, consider what do I need prioritize? Do I need to allocate meeting or travel time? Do I need to set aside time to respond to emails etc?
Delegation: Consider your network, is there anyone else within your team who has the expertise to complete the task? There is no harm in taking help from those within your team to get a task completed to the highest standard and within a timely fashion.
Breakdown large projects: Sometimes bigger projects feel like there is no road to the end in sight. Overview the tasks within your project and divide them by priority, this makes the workload more manageable and therefore benefits you with your time management.
