Throwback to the CyrusOne Data Centre in Frankfurt.
Five floors. High-spec technical space. Right in Sossenheim — Frankfurt’s “Digital City”.
We partnered with CTS as Main Contractor and managed the document control on Autodesk.
Looking back, the most important work happened at the very start.
Before the drawings started flying.
Before the inbox filled up.
Before the pressure kicked in.
We took the time to agree the basics:
• A clear folder structure
• Naming that actually made sense
• Defined issuing routes
• Permissions set properly from day one
• Registers that matched what was in the system
Nothing flashy. Just solid foundations.
Because once a project like that gathers pace, you don’t get the luxury of stopping to fix chaos.
On data centre projects, precision matters. You don’t want to be debating revisions when you’re dealing with high-spec infrastructure and tight programmes.
That early structure meant fewer issues later. Less confusion. Less firefighting.
Strong setup.
Clear rules.
Consistent support.
It sounds simple - but it makes a real difference.
