One of the most common problems we still see on projects…

Drawings being issued outside the system.

Sent by email.

Dropped into WhatsApp.

Shared on a random link “just this once”.

It usually starts with good intentions – someone trying to be helpful or fast.

But it quickly leads to:

• Different versions in circulation

• Confusion over what’s current

• No proper audit trail

• Registers that don’t match reality

Once that happens, trust in the system is gone.

The fix isn’t complicated:

Agree one place for issuing information.

Make it the only place.

And stick to it.

If the system is where the record lives, then that’s where the issue should happen too.
